As a Team Leader to our Disability Support Workers in Yarrawonga, you will join an amazing team of people who assist persons with a disability in the community.
We are looking for a passionate person that has experience in:
- Leadership & service excellence
Reporting to the Client Services Manager you will be a key leader providing individualized services that meet customer’s needs. You will manage our Short-Term Accommodation service and provide oversight to our group and individualized services. You will develop and provide quality services, support plans, monitor incident reports, liaise with parents/carers and coordinate service delivery. You will excel in kind communication, demonstrating our values of Participation, Choice, Responsiveness, Innovation, Dignity & Respect and Accountability. You will be involved in the writing of service agreements.
- Quality Assurance, Risk & Compliance
You will ensure compliance with Legislation, NDIS requirements and Organisational Policies & Procedures, participating in the development of these as required. You will ensure all areas under your control comply with Workplace Health & Safety Regulations and put in place strategies to manage identified risks safely, by minimising or eliminating the risks.
- Financial Management
You will control and coordinate your work area within budgetary constraints and ensure the implementation of Service Agreements in accordance to individual needs.
- Wonderful Work Ethic
You will possess a positive can-do attitude, be a self-starter with a high level of initiative and enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, flexible in nature and be able to support and cooperate with other staff.

- Creative rostering

- Ability to manage complaints
- Abide by policy and procedure
- Comfortable to have difficult conversations and performance manage
It is a Condition of Employment for our Client that you Have and Maintain the Following:
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Working with Children Check (Employee)
- Driver's License
- National Criminal Police Check
- Disability Workers Exclusion Scheme Check
