Our client is a local metal fabrication business. They have an exciting opportunity for an estimator to join their dynamic team. This role would be suitable for someone with customer service experience and a trade background. 

Responsibilities include:

• Determining scope and suitability of work 
• Preparing estimates of small and large projects
• Providing accurate costings of materials, labour and external services 
• Following up quotes on a weekly basis
• Monitoring, reviewing and revising and necessary variations to quotes
• Working with Project and Production teams 
• Establish and maintain relationships with the customer base

The successful candidate will need to have:

• Great communication and interpersonal skills 
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office and MRP programs
• Experience in the metal industry is preferred
• Previous estimating experience is an advantage, however training will be offered
• Great work ethic and time management skills
• Team player
