Code of Conduct

Monarch Personnel operates under a Code of Conduct covering our level of service to you. Please see our code below.

The aim of the Code is to ensure the delivery of high quality support service with high standards of ethical behaviour exhibited to all parties concerned.

PREAMBLE

1.1. The Code set the standard for Monarch Personnel to maintain ethical standards and remain responsive to the Shepparton and district community.

CODE

Monarch Personnel is committed to:

2.1. Maximising the potential for the employment, training and personal development of the staff and employees of Monarch Personnel.

2.2. The development of uniform and equitable policy objectives, adequate resources and co-operation between government, employers and those seeking skilled training within industry.

2.3. Monitoring the conduct of management practices as specified in this code.

2.4. At all times discharge allotted and/or accepted responsibilities with integrity and observe the standards prescribed by the company in accordance with good management practice. (See Section Management Staff Code)

2.5. Establish policies, pursue objectives and fulfil obligations in a manner consistent with the code.

2.6. Strive to promote, implement and monitor the training programs relevant to industry and the community.

2.7. Implement relevant policy objectives as determined by Monarch Personnel.

2.8. Work with other member companies of Group Training Australia in a spirit of mutual support and co-operation.

2.9. Conduct themselves in such a manner as will not damage the business operation and reputation of Monarch Personnel.

2.10. Staff and management behaviour should comply with the Policies and Procedures contained in the P&P manual.

2.11. Staff and management will obey the law.

Monarch Personnel and the Community

2.12. The Staff will recognise the interests of the community and act accordingly.

2.13. Staff are encouraged to participate in community activities, utilising available professional skills.

2.14. Staff and management will make every endeavour to conserve the environment, having regards to the rights of future generations.

2.15. Staff and management will promote and, wherever possible, improve the quality of life within the company’s influence.

2.16. Staff and management will promote and encourage the development of further understanding in society of the role of People@Work and its place in the business community;

2.17. Encourage community acceptance of entry level training as viable career option for all (including but not limited to minority groups and women).

2.18. Exclude all corrupt practices.

The Management & Staff

2.19. All management & staff have professional responsibilities and will:

2.20. Demonstrate integrity and compassion and avoid discriminator practices,

2.21. Have regard for the professional reputation and business of others,

2.22. Not use authority or office for personal gain,

2.23. Respect the confidentiality of information which comes to them in the course of their duty,

2.24. Balance the interests of their employer with their own responsibilities and commitments;

2.25. Engage in continued learning to improve managerial competence and pursue new ideas and advances in technology and business practice;

2.26. Accept only such work as they believe they are competent to perform and seek expert advice or further resources where necessary;

2.27. Give objective opinions when called upon to do so;

2.28. Ensure that all communications are informative, true and clear, respecting the moral standards and the dignity of the individual;

2.29. All staff and management will take appropriate actions to achieve the objectives of Monarch Personnel including:

2.30. The effective and economic management of all available resources;

2.31. The appointment, training and development of employees, seeking to integrate their aspirations with the requirements of the company;

2.32. The creation of an equitable, friendly, safe. and satisfying, work environment;

2.33. The practice of delegation of authority wherever possible and the acceptance responsibilities for the work of subordinates;

2.34. The immediate and full disclosure of any personal interest and the refraining from activities which conflict with the interests of Monarch Personnel;

2.35. The equitable treatment and remuneration of employees.
