This Factory Assistant / Maintenance role is based in Tatura, we are looking for someone that is a bit of a all rounder and that doesn't mind sweeping the factory floors.

This role involves : 

General House keeping

• Sweeping floors (inside & out), Maintaining Grounds (gravel & gardens), Turning off lights and locking doors at the end of each day.
• Maintaining yard so it is neat & tidy, Manage rubbish bins around the factory.
• Maintain Nissan Ute so they are neat and tidy, fueled and oil checked, Maintain fork lifts (Gas, Check oil etc)

Packing finished goods

• Counting of finished goods, Packages are labelled clearly
• Goods are packaged, wrapped and loaded in a professional, secure and safe manner, Deliver Jobs locally (in Tatura)

Assist Production & Purchasing Officer

• Loading and unloading of trucks, Checking inwards goods for quality and quantity
• Stocking inwards goods as directed, Assisting with stock take, Picking components for jobs & Assisting purchasing manager with maintaining store

Occupational Health & Safety

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in implementing safety strategies, Liaise with site safety committee

The successful candidate must have: 

• Current Drivers Licence
• Forklift Licence (with experience)
