Purchasing Officer
Our clients operate a Family Owned and Run package supply business in Shepparton. We are looking for Purchasing Officer who has some basic knowledge in stock management and understanding of stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will be someone with a willingness to learn and possesses great customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Issuing of Purchase Orders to Suppliers to ensure supply of goods is able to meet customer demand
- Coordinating arrival of stock from suppliers
- Assisting with the management and updating of min/max requirements as determined
- Coordinating stock returns
- Effective management of Supplier and Product Database to ensure accuracy
- Assisting with finding solutions to customer complaints surrounding product quality
- Ensuring goods arrive in a timely manner to meet business and customer requirements
The successful candidate will need to have:
- Excellent administrative skills
- Well developed planning and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Great work ethic and time management skills
- Knowledge of ERP accounting systems, would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Microsoft Products, including Excel, is desired
