Finance/Administration Manager

Our client is looking for a Finance/Administration Manager to join their team based in Shepparton. The business is a long established local business with a dedicated team working over the companies two office and servicing the surrounding areas. 

The Finance/Administration Manager will work closely with the Managing Director you will oversee the financial performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in setting budget and profit targets
  • Oversee monthly financial outcomes and reporting
  • Develop strategies to assist in improving current practices to ensure budgets are achieved
  • Preparation of staff payroll and other associated processes
  • Preparation and lodgement of monthly BAS
  • Review of monthly financial reports prepared by accounts officer
  • Preparation of annual lodgements for various authorities including State Revenue Office and WorkCover
  • Preparation of annual financial reports for provision to external accountants
  • Oversee and provide back up support to the receptionist and accounts officer
  • General office management duties

Skills & Attributes Required:

  • Accounting experience with MYOB
  • Advanced Excel and Word program skills
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Great work ethic and time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team

The role will offer flexibility in either working hours and number of days worked.
