Service Advisor
We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our clients workshop team. You will be a key link - ensuring all maintenance and repair tasks are scheduled, documented and completed on time.
The sucessful candidate will work full time hours each week with daily 7.00am starts. The role will involve a certain level of overtime each week due to the nature of the business.
Key Duties:
- Schedule and coordinate daily service and repair jobs for the fleet of vehicles and equipment
- Liaise with operations team to manage workshop bookings and breakdowns
- Create, issue and close out job cards and maintenance records
- Communicate clearly with workshop and other staff to ensure parts availability before jobs are commenced
- Monitor progress in the workshop and keep management updated on timelines and possible delays or issues.
- Support compliance with maintenance schedules and defect reporting
- Provide high level customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or Scheduler in a mechanical, transport or dealership environment
- High level communication and organisational skills
- Good mechanical understanding - knowledge of trucks would be an advantage
- Good computer skills with an exposure to workshop/maintenance management systems
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and priortise tasks
- Drivers licence
